The 4th annual WordCamp Europe will be held in Vienna, Austria, June 24-26, 2016, bringing together over 1000 passionate designers, developers, business owners, entrepreneurs, marketing experts, bloggers and educators from around the globe.
Submissions have been closed on 31 January 2016 at midnight. All candidates will be informed as to whether or not their talk was accepted by 16 March.
What we’re looking for
WordCamp Europe showcases the best of WordPress, and of the WordPress community in Europe.
Unique takes on topics involving development, design, business & entrepreneurship, community, marketing and content (to name a few), could contribute to yet another one of the rich and engaging programs that WordCamp Europe participants have come to know and love.
Here are some example topics that we believe are interesting to our audience:
Development
- Broader Horizons for WP developers – new languages, paradigms, and tools, that inspire us to be better WordPress developers.
- WordPress REST API
- Using modern JavaScript front-end tools with WordPress.
- Developing larger projects with WordPress – both team and technical challenges, e-commerce solutions, complex web applications.
- Real-world stories of automated testing (end-to-end, integration, browser, unit).
- Server setup and new stacks (HHVM, containers, deployment).
- Learning – approaches for staying up-to-date with WordPress and the web development worlds.

Submissions have been closed on 31 January 2016 at midnight. All candidates will be informed as to whether or not their talk was accepted by 16 March. All approved speakers will gain free entry to the event, so you can hold off on purchasing tickets until you’ve heard back from us. And don’t worry, we’ll make sure there are some available for those who need them: we definitely still want to see you there!
