About WordCamp Europe
WordCamp Europe is a global conference dedicated to all things WordPress that happens annually in a different European city. In 2016, it will be held in the beautiful capital of Austria – Vienna, from 24th to 26th of June. Every year WordCamp Europe gives the European WordPress community a chance to gather together in a new beautiful location to geek-out, share experiences, do business, and most of all, talk WordPress. It’s an opportunity to welcome WordPress community members from all over the globe to our continent to experience the diversity and culture that makes us so unique.
Location
WordCamp Europe 2016 will be held in the beautiful capital of Austria – Vienna. Two Conference days (24th and 25th June 2016) will be held at Halle E+G, MuseumsQuartier Wien, Museumsplatz 1, 1070 Vienna in the fascinating Museumsquartier, located in the Vienna 7th district. And since Vienna Museumsquartier is the eighth largest cultural area in the world it’s definitely a place worth visiting for at least couple of days before or after the conference.
Equally important as the Conference itself is Contributor day (26th June 2016). It will be held at Vienna University (Universität Wien), Währingerstrasse 29, 1090 Vienna.

Accommodation
Vienna isn’t too big and you can reach Conference venue within 30 minutes wherever you stay (as long as you have access to Metro). Nevertheless, we assembled a list of hotels that will make your stay in Vienna even more enjoyable. 🙂 Some of these hotels are really close to the Conference venue so you can take a morning walk or even get up early and grab a coffee before you get to the venue. Awesome, right?
