Iñaki Respaldiza is a researcher in bioinformatics and molecular biology. He is a photographer, musician and free software activist. He has a synergy relationship with WordPress cause he uses it to promote the other areas, and WordPress provides him an active community to collaborate with. He is a rookie in the Seville’s WordPress local group, but he is involved in the organization of the meetups and WordCamp.

Aranza Respaldiza is a researcher and her interests are mainly focused on visual reasoning, theory of visualisation, metadata and heritage. Recently she has defended her PhD in Geomatics Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with a distinction Summa Cum Laude.

She has experience in graphic, editorial, multimedia and web design. She has her personal brand ‘marh’, has worked on communication agency, publishing company and as freelance.

She is an enthusiastic user on WordPress since 2010, likes giving back to the WordPress community by organizing WordCamp Sevilla, participating in the WPMeetups Sevilla and helping with translations.

Luca Sartoni is a media professional with more than a decade of technical and marketing background. Thanks to his extensive experience in different business environments, from SMEs to large corporate projects, Luca helps companies scale up their business adopting data driven strategies. He does not believe in Santa Claus, magical spells and everything that is not backed up by facts. Luca is a Growth Engineer at Automattic.

In addition to his consulting background, Luca is a well renowned blogger and a speaker in the online communications industry.

Marcel Bootsman is an experienced self-employed WordPress specialist at nostromo.nl, founded in 2009. He likes giving back to the WordPress community by creating plugins, helping with translations and organizing WordCamp Europe and WordCamp Netherlands.

In his free time, he visits WPMeetups, rides a mountain bike, plays with his GoPro camera and tries to design and build furniture.

Sara is VIP Global Services Manager at Automattic (WordPress.com & more), and as part of her job with the WordPress.com VIP team, she works at discovering and sharing WordPress success stories with the world. She has worked in technology since 1996 for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Ogilvy, and she’s been using WordPress since 2006. Sara is also a writer, photographer, technology lover, and business & digital strategist. Originally from California, she’s been living in Italy for ten years and is currently in Rome.

Front Ender who writes bash scripts to automate deployment. Designer who spends more time in MacVim than a drawing app. Taught Web Design in a local high school, teaching courses in HTML and CSS – very interested in education around technology. Other than that, he talks a lot, a lot we tell you.

Currently he works as a Product Manager at Historypin, a community archive project based in London, UK.

Sonja is a freelance User Experience Designer, Digital Strategist, and WordPress Front-End Designer. German native, New York based. She just recently embarked on a journey to live a location-independent lifestyle, following the sun and connecting with fellow WordPress geeks.

Rocío Valdivia is a Spanish Computer Engineer in love with Free Software, technology, travelling and personal challenges. She enjoys everyday working in Mailpoet. She specializes in BuddyPress, a tool to develop social networks. She has experience as WP consultant and freelance developer. Part of the Spanish translation team at GlotPress, Spanish’s WP and BP forums administrator. Co-organises WordCamp Sevilla. Co-author of “WordPress para Dummies” (2012). Luis Rull is a WordPress lover who tries to be a bridge between those who have things to tell and coders who help them to deliver the message. Free software advocate and working with WordPress since 2006, now works in Mecus.es, a company which finds communication solutions with WordPress. A WordCamp and WC MeetUp Sevilla organizer and speaker, es_ES validator, also co-organizes TEDxSevilla & EBE, the largest Social Media & Tech event in Spain. Father of two angles, married to a goddess.

Rafa Poveda is a Free Software and WordPress Evangelist, and has been working as a WordPress developer since 2007. He works in Mecus, a company which help other companies to communicate and have a presence online using WordPress as their main tool. He also works teaching WordPress and doing in-company training courses for WordPress developers.

In the Community, Rafa is a validator for WordPress in Spanish, an admin for Spanish WordPress forums, an organiser for WordCamp Sevilla and WordPress Meetups in Sevilla, a regular speaker in Meetups and WordCamps, and co-author of the book ‘WordPress para Dummies’.

Remkus is an enthusiastic WordPress aficionado from Fryslân, The Netherlands. Back in 2007 he founded his WordPress specialist company ForSite Media and has since been expanding in all areas WordPress. He’s been the Dutch admin for WordPress, is the lead-organizer of WordCamp Netherland and this will also be his third WordCamp Europe. Mario Peshev is the founder and WordPress Architect at DevriX, SaaS developer, WordPress contributor and Open Source consultant.
He has been building software solutions for the past 10 years. Mario is a technical trainer at universities and large corporations such as VMware, Software AG and Saudi Aramco, and he is a co-organizer for WordCamp Sofia and the local meetup.

Veselin has 15 years of experience as a Software Engineer. He joined Automattic in 2011 and for the last several years has been working on the WordPress.com Store. He lives in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he is part of the WordCamp Sofia team. He is geek, introvert, father, and has a master’s degree in Information Systems.

Nikolay is a long-time WordPress core contributor, lives in Bulgaria, works for Automattic, blogs at extrapolate.me, and has a bear.

Tina Kesova is an event ninja, affiliates advocate & partners whisperer @SiteGround. Occasional globetrotter, gym junkie, works too much.

Her job takes her to various parts of the world as she travel to spread the SiteGround love, meet new people and share the experience with all of them. Tina is one of the organisers of WordCamp Europe 2014 in Sofia and staying on the team in 2015 to help speakers do their best at the event.

You’ll easily recognise Tina’s wide smile in the crowd and when you do, make sure to go say “Hi” and have a drink with her.

Paolo Belcastro is the Store Division Lead at Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com. The Store Division is in charge of promoting and selling premium upgrades to WordPress.com users, as well as supporting Business and Enterprise accounts, with a focus on providing an exceptional user experience.

Paolo started developing online products from Paris, France in 1994 with ParisHotels.com, managed and monetized high profile domain name portfolios from 1998. In 2004 he founded his own internet consultancy firm in Geneva, Switzerland.

Paolo Belcastro is from Italy, studied photography at the ENS Louis Lumière in Paris, France. Modern nomad, after Italy, France, and Switzerland, Paolo currently lives in Vienna, Austria. Passionate photographer, he also dedicates his free time to the WordPress community through the organization of WordCamp Europe and WordCamp Vienna.

Siobhan McKeown is a writer, editor, event organiser, WordPress contributor, public speaker, and free software advocate. Her current project is a book about the history of the WordPress project.

Petya is a media monster and a huge WordPress enthusiast. She’s an active member of the WordPress community, contributing to the awesome Polyglots team alongside some of the most inspiring people in the world.

She was lucky enough to go to Leiden in 2013 for the first WordCamp Europe where she fell head over heels in love with the WordPress project and the wonderful people surrounding it. Petya was a part of the organising team of WordCamp Europe 2014 in Sofia and can’t wait to meet you all in Seville!
